Reflections Art Contest

The national PTA Reflections Art Contest is about to begin! This year’s theme is “Accepting Imperfection”, and students have the opportunity to contribute their own unique interpretation of this theme through original artwork in one of six areas:

* Dance Choreography

* Literature

* Photography

* Film Production

* Music Composition

* Visual Arts

 This contest aims to recognize the creativity of as many students as possible, and of all abilities. That said, there are very specific guidelines and rules in each category, which can be found at Reflections Art Program Resources - California State PTA (capta.org)

Contest deadline is Tuesday, October 22th, 2024. Please drop off your work in the Eastbluff front office between October 14th-22nd. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 25th at Otter Rally. Flyers will be available at the front office and entry forms can be found here: reflections form link

EDADS Trunk or Treat

Join us at Eastbluff Elementary on Saturday, October 26th at 5PM for the ultimate "Trunk or Treat" event! It’s the perfect chance for the kids to break in their Halloween costumes early and enjoy a spooky evening of candy, community, and creative costumes. We’ll have cars decked out on the blacktop for trunk-or-treating and a thrilling costume contest for the little ghouls and goblins. Tickets are $25 per family and can be purchased at edads.org. Don’t ghost us – it’s going to be fang-tastic!
Why did the skeleton stay home from Trunk or Treat?

He had no-body to go with!
